PRESENTER:

Paul Rak, President

Paul Rak is the president and original owner of VeriForm Inc., a metal fabrication company started in 1997 in Cambridge, Ontario, and a founding member of the Regional Sustainability Initiative in the Waterloo area. He has spoken or been a keynote speaker at nearly 90 events and conferences since 2006, both in the US and in Canada, on the benefits of incorporating sustainability into business. Paul studied Business Management and Quality at the University of Waterloo. In his home life you can find Paul either indoor rock climbing with his 16-year-old daughter, hunting wild mushrooms or forest trail running with his dog as he believes dogs should not be walked, they should be run.  In fact, Paul’s favorite saying is “You don’t stop running because you get old; you get old because you stop running.”
