Rob Marion, Director, Facilities Engineering & LEAN Enterprise

Rob is responsible for all facilities engineering activities, including leading the LEAN journey within the New Flyer group’s transit bus business. Rob spent the first part of his career in the plant engineering field in the foundry, plating and machining industries before spending 23 years in various plant management roles for bus manufacturing and architectural millwork companies. Rob holds the Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) designation with the Certified Technicians and Technologists of Manitoba, the Certified in Management (CIM) designation with the Canadian Institute of Management, the Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) designation with Association for Operations Management (APICS) and is LEAN Blackbelt Certified through LEAN Sensei International (LSI).
